Born on July 2, 1991, Burna Boy is 33 years old as of 2024. He grew up in a well-settled family in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He holds Nigerian nationality and practices the Christian faith.

Burna Boy completed his early education at Corona Secondary School in Agbara, Ogun State. He then studied media technology at the University of Sussex in East Sussex, England. After that, he pursued media communications and culture at Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England, graduating in 2010.

Burna Boy’s passion for music began at a young age. At ten, he was creating beats using FruityLoops. He started his professional music career in 2010 and released his first song “Wombolombo Something” in 2011. His big break came in 2012 with the release of “Like to Party.”

Following this, his career took off with his debut album “L.I.F.E,” which included collaborations with artists like 2Baba, Olamide, and Wizkid. In 2015, he founded his record label, Spaceship Entertainment. His albums “African Giant” and “Twice as Tall” further established him as a global music star.
